LG also notes that the screen should provide an excellent experience even under direct sunlight thanks to its 1000 cd/m² brightness rating, though the phone will only deliver that much light for three minutes at a time. This will let users shoot even more intelligence-optimized shots.

The LG G7 ThinQ's display can also be set to six different viewing modes: auto, eco, cinema, sports, game and expert. That display is an LCD panel at 3120×1440 which has a notch up top. There is also a LG G7+ ThinQ with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB (UFS 3.1) storage.

The battery on 3000 mAh got the opportunity to wireless charging.

For the camera buffs, the G7 Thinq features a dual rear camera setup consisting a 16MP primary Super Wide Angle sensor with f/1.9 aperture and 16MP secondary sensor with f/1.6. Below those cameras is a fingerprint reader, and around front is an 8MP wide angle f/1.9 camera. The smartphone comes in four colour variants - Platinum Gray, Aurora Black, Moroccan Blue and Raspberry Rose.

There are 19 shooting modes for the G7 ThinQ, all powered by AI that can intelligently detect what you're taking a photo of to get you in the ideal mode for the flawless shot. The AI algorithm helps in better low-light photography. It also has Live Photo mode that one second before and after the shutter is pressed for snippets of unexpected moments or expressions. Lastly, there's a portrait mode to take professional looking photos with depth-of-field effects. The software can do things like identify landmarks, plants, and animals. I'll get onto the camera features later, but the Google features are pretty straightforward: the LG G7 gets a button on the side, just below the volume buttons, that can launch various voice-recognition and AI functions. You can also press and hold on to the button to talk to Google Assistant right away.

The next highlight of the G7 ThinQ is the loudspeaker it packs.

T-Mobile has said that it'll launch the LG G7 ThinQ "later this spring". This allows the handset to produce sound that's ten times louder than the competition, according to Engadget. It is also the fist handset that delivers DTS:X capability, offering virtual 3D sound for all content. LG is yet to announce when it plans to bring the flagship smartphone to India, but said the device will arrive in South Korea in the "coming months" followed by a launch in Europe, North America and Asia.

The flagship smartphone of Galaxy S9 series was launched in March 2018 and has been the biggest contributor to making the Samsung the 50 % shareholder of the premium smartphone market.
