New York Knicks: 2018 NBA Draft Lottery odds

The NBA Draft Lottery is on Tuesday night and the Sixers will learn the fate of their first-round pick via the Lakers at that time.

The likely spot for the Magic to land is either No. 5 or No. 6.

The NBA Draft lottery is finally upon us, so take a look at a mock draft and park yourself in front of your TV at 7:30 p.m. ET - or a few minutes later, honestly, if you want to skip the part where every team's lottery representative is introduced - to see where the ping-pong balls bounce. Last year, it was Joel Embiid, in 2016 it was Brett Brown and 2015 was Nerlens Noel.

Chances of having twins (1.5 percent) per TwinsUK. Arizona big man DeAndre Ayton, Slovenian shooting guard Luka Doncic, Duke power forward Marvin Bagley III and Michigan State center Jaren Jackson Jr. are all projected as potential franchise-changers.

The Magic haven't won the lottery since turning 2004's No. 1 pick into Dwight Howard.

And since we've got the NBA Draft on our minds, why not make it the topic of discussion for this week's Trivia Tuesday?

Each team's odds at landing the top pick are based on each team's regular-season record. They have not had the No. 1 pick since.

Including 1985, the Knicks have selected in the top 10 nine times.

It would be typical Los Angeles Clippers luck though if the Pistons pick somehow landed first overall and the Clippers had to forfeit the pick that they received for Griffin. That number would be much higher if it weren't for some bad trades made in the past.

At that point, both teams will be on pins and needles hoping the selection falls on the right number. He already has the defensive chops to be a difference-maker, but his offense needs some work. New York's new brain trust of head coach David Fizdale, Scott Perry and Steve Mills are looking to shape the team in their vision.
