The friend said: "This is not what she wants".

She has also been helping Markle with some of the wedding planning. He said he had been treated at the General Hospital in Mexico six days ago.

According to the Independent, there has been a massive drop in the number of royal street parties-a treasured British tradition-planned for the weekend compared with Prince William's 2011 wedding.

However, she did acknowledge that the situation has put Kensington Palace in an "awkward" situation, given that they had emailed the press just days earlier asking them to give Meghan's family privacy. He's since reportedly admitted the photos were staged.

As reported by the Sky News, Thomas took this decision after some pictures were released which showed him colluding with photographers which left him "deeply embarrassed".

Thomas Markle was set to walk Meghan Markle down the aisle during the church ceremony, and Ragland is set to ride to the chapel with her daughter. She obviously wants her dad there.
