Battlefield V name confirmed as EA sets May 23 reveal

The marketing's heavy push towards "V" implies a Vietnam setting but rumors have been swirling about it taking place during World War II.

This and many other questions surrounding Battlefield V will surely be revealed next week during the game's reveal event, so we shouldn't have to wait much longer to find out.

Electronic Arts set an official date and time Wednesday for the reveal of Battlefield V. Make sure to check Electronic Arts and DICE's live reveal on May 23rd. It'll broadcast on YouTube, Twitch, and Mixer, and will be hosted by Trevor Noah, who announced the broadcast earlier today.

Battlefield fans have been clamoring for the next entry in the series for some time now, and EA has finally delivered, as far as what's coming in the future for the shooter franchise. With Call of Duty Black Ops 4 releasing this October, it's nearly sure that we'll get to see Battlefield 5 getting released around that time.
