Minutes ago a Fox Business D.C. correspondent posted video (below) of her asking the EPA chief about reports he tried to get a Chick-fil-A franchise for his spouse. Millan Hupp, a 26-year-old scheduler, ended up making $114,590 until the Atlantic story came out and Pruitt was forced to rescind the raises.

The Post notes that "federal ethics laws bar public officials from using their position or staff for private gain".

U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday praised the job being done by Environmental Protection Agency chief Scott Pruitt, who is under fire over ethics and spending issues. You know that, Scott.

Obviously Wilcox takes this personally, which is why he told Elaina Plott she was a piece of trash when she called for comment today about Hupp's resignation.

Okay, everybody, this latest Scott Pruitt scandal has gotten a little out of hand.

"I mean, look, my wife is an entrepreneur herself". We need more of them in Tulsa, we need more of them across the country.

House Democrats have been calling for Pruitt to be fired for months. He's in the trough with all four paws and snout.

Iowa Republican Sen. Joni Ernst suggested this week that it might be time for Trump to tell Pruitt to go.

Pruitt spoke Wednesday to a correspondent for Nexstar Media Group.

Pruitt is now the subject of multiple inquiries into his actions at the agency from ethics watchdogs, federal auditors and congressional committees.

The tweet notes some of Pruitt's most egregious scandals, including the fact that he paid $50 a night for a condo - well below market rate - from the wife of a lobbyist who had business before the EPA. Hupp and Greenwalt resigned this week, the reasons for their departures is still unclear. Three other senior Pruitt staffers resigned earlier this spring.

Pruitt, in appearances before congressional panels this spring, has repeatedly blamed subordinates for his alleged ethical lapses.

"Knowing Scott Pruitt, I think he will do a good job", Hatch said.

Greenwalt worked in several roles at the Oklahoma attorney general's office under Pruitt, lastly as his general counsel.
