E3 2018 EA Announces Command & Conquer Rivals

Once control has been taken a missile fires and whichever team lost control gets a hit to the base.

EA unveiled a new mobile game at EA Play, its pre E3 2018 event, This RTS (realtime strategy) mobile game was showed off as a head-to-head match between two competitive gamers. According to the developers, two missiles launched on the opponent means game over for them.

Gameplay is real time, and players are in constant control of their troops as they vie for control of a nuclear silo.

Command and Conquer, the iconic PC RTS that popularised one of the most influential genres of the '90s, is now a mobile game named Command & Conquer Rivals.

Start stockpiling your tiberium, because EA has just announced the release of Command & Conquer: Rivals. The Google Play Pre-Alpha test allows us to put the game in the hands of our players earlier. The heavy focus on multiplayer gameplay is also likely to dissuade fans of the single-player campaigns in the original game.

Unveiled at EA's E3 conference, the Global Defence Initiative and the Brotherhood of Nod will once again face off, but across a tiny, hex-based grid.

The game is now in pre-alpha, but EA is is offering Android users the ability to try out the pre-alpha before the game officially launches.

EA is making Rivals specifically for mobile and touchscreen controls.
