We'll be live blogging EA Play in about a half hour and will keep eagle eyes out to see if the leak is true!

Anthem has been one of our most-anticipated E3 2018 games for a while, and EA obliged with a pretty good three-part look at the online RPG during its Hollywood press conference.

In Anthem, up to four players explore and battle in a risky, mysterious place populated by great characters and a unique BioWare story.

While it is not impossible to play alone, solo has been described as potentially more hard without the full four person team. Did the striking Sea of Solitude take your fancy?

On top off this came the news that the game will include no loot boxes, no premium pass and all content updates will be free for everyone. Developer DICE also promised the game would get its own battle royale mode with the Battlefield twist - including destructible environments that can be wrecked by the game's war vehicles. The studio provided a huge amount of new details about the gameplay and story. We also got to see some Anthem gameplay.

You'll also be able to customise your character - called the Freelancer - as well as personalise your Javelin exo-suit, which will have upgrades across the four suits.

This will mean teaming up with three other players, wielding an arsenal of Javelin exosuits, each equipped with unique weapons and abilities. The world is shared when out in the open with other players. According to a listing on Amazon Italy (spotted on ResetEra), Anthem's release date is February 19, 2019. The executive producer told the fan that "the game is designed around having a co-op experience in combat etc... and then having a more personal story in your hub". The primary antagonists in the game, a faction about whom we know little more than its name (the Dominion), have learned how to manipulate the Anthem in their pursuit of conquering the world.

Speaking of the story, it does seem familiar to another game, Destiny.
