The new character progress system will offer more for players who've completed the campaign and reached the level cap with new signature weapons that unlock a new progression tree with special abilities.

If you've been impressed with what you've seen from The Division 2 so far, be sure to watch Ubisoft's E3 press conference late today, when we'll nearly certainly be hearing more about the game.

While there will be tons of content available on day one, The Division 2 is committed to continually offering new content updates.

The Division 2 will be set in Washington, DC, after the events of the first game. Each Specialization, like sharpshooter, demolitionist, or survivalist, comes with its own progression path. After completing the story, players will be able to choose from one of three unique specialized classes and take on extra challenges alongside their friends.

The game will also receive a full year of free content following its release, arriving as three episodes that bring new storylines, areas to explore, as well as activities.

In addition to showing the cinematic trailer, Ubisoft also revealed several other exciting details about The Division 2.

The sprawling Manhattan devastation of The Division isn't done yet, even though the sequel has been shown off for the first time at E3 2018. The Division 2 launches in March 2019, and a beta will be held before launch.
