New Platinum game Babylon’s Fall revealed in Square Enix E3 Showcase 2018

From the looks of it, it's a fantasy-themed action game with possible co-op (right at the end of the teaser trailer we can see four characters standing together, presumably before entering battle).

Atop this, the grappling hook now has more tethers than ever (i.e. you can tie more stuff together with it), retains the booster rockets and now fires "air lifting balloons" (not fultons, obv) that can be attached to objects.

According to Square Enix's press release, The Quiet Man will be a story-driven, cinematic experience that can be completed in a single sitting. However, when it was all said and done, Square Enix had very little to offer.

Just Cause 4 is confirmed as coming to PC and PS4 on December 4 with a new gameplay trailer above.

Either way, this one has a low-key, gritty visual aesthetic compared to other Square Enix games, so it should be interesting to follow moving forward. The teaser was a unusual mixture of live action and in-game graphics, but the central gimmick seems to be that the main character is deaf. Square are promising "more to come" in August which suggests we'll have to keep guessing until then. Platinum Games is best known for games such as Vanquish, NieR: Automata, and the upcoming Granblue Fantasy Project Re:Link. A new video showed off the latest installment in the open-world crazy-fest and its focus on extreme weather like tornados and lightning.
