North Korea Says Trump Agreed to Lift Sanctions After Meeting

Dennis Rodman Breaks Down In Tears Discussing Trump-Kim Summit

US President Donald Trump may have offended his new-found friend Kim Jong Un by appearing to fat-shame the North Korean leader as they met for a working lunch during their historic summit in Singapore.

Donald Trump's supporters have hailed the summit with Kim Jong-un a triumph in diplomatic relations. "It was a bad thing, it was brutal, but a lot of people started to focus on what was going on, including North Korea".

Trump agreed on step-by-step denuclearisation process by North in return for United States concessions, the United States president was cited by North Korea's official KCNA news agency.

North Korea's media is tightly controlled by the government and only ever reports positively on officials' activities.

Obama, as he left office, warned Trump that the North Korean nuclear and missile programs were likely to be the most urgent problem he would confront, according to a March 2017 New York Times report.

"Before taking office people were assuming that we were going to War with North Korea".

Kim said both countries should commit to avoid antagonising each other and take legal, institutional steps to guarantee it, the North's state media said. "No longer - sleep well tonight!" the president wrote.

North Korea has resisted talks over the years because they disagreed with the U.S.'s preconditions - mainly, a clear commitment to an inspection-and-verification regime. No details of what those steps would be were given.

KCNA also reported that both leaders had agreed to visit each other in the USA and North Korea respectively.

Trump also said the USA would halt military exercises with Seoul - something long sought by Pyongyang, which claims the drills are a rehearsal for invasion. The two sides promised to hold follow-up negotiations.

President Trump continued to pat himself on the back Tuesday night for arraigning the Singapore summit - saying it helped reduce the risk of "potential Nuclear catastrophe". "We will stop the war games [with South Korea and allies], which will save us a tremendous amount of money. I know a lot about airplanes.it's very expensive", he said at the post-summit news conference. Even after Trump took charge of the presidency, Pyongyang didn't let up in the tests, claiming to have tested a hydrogen bomb and then an inter-continental ballistic missile, a huge leap in destructive power. "So we look nice and handsome and thin?"

In addition to the pictures of Kim on the tour on Tuesday, separate landscape shots of the Marina Bay Sands hotel, and a bird's-eye view of Singapore from the hotel's observation deck were also shown. "My meeting with Chairman Kim was honest, direct and productive".

Officials in Russian Federation have said that they feel positive about the outcome of the summit and they hope that Moscow can be involved in the negotiating process to promote peace on the Korean peninsula.

China would be wary if the suspension of military exercises led to some kind of larger rapprochement between the US and North Korea, Haenle said.

Even as they offered measured praise for Mr Trump's diplomatic efforts, congressional Republicans have emphasised the hard road that remains and pressed for more details of what exactly the President agreed to with Kim.

"Uniting Korea would be a good thing but I don't really trust Kim Jong-un because he never talked about uniting Korea before Trump", he said.

"I think they are one of the great winners today", he said. The kid is not North Korean. Otto did not die in vain.

Moon says Trump deserves a Peace Prize.

"One: North Korea completed its nuclear deterrence, which finally gave North Korea the leverage it needed to bring the United States to the table and also be able to negotiate on an equal footing", Lee told Loud & Clear.

Mr Trump said on Tuesday the U.S. was stopping "very provocative" and costly military exercises with South Korea to facilitate denuclearisation negotiations with North Korea.

Trump said he would "absolutely" invite Kim to visit the White House and is open to visiting Pyongyang, as well.
