Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have joined Queen Elizabeth and other members of the royal family at Ascot 2018.

The prince wagged his finger at Frankie at his breach of royal protocol after the royal newlyweds presented the jockey with the race trophy.

Meghan Markle, who shared the third carriage with her husband Prince Harry and the Earl and Countess of Wessex, wore a cream dress with a black and cream hat.

For her first Royal Ascot, Meghan wore a white suit dress and Harry donned the traditional top and tails as they attended the race course in Berkshire.

Now, one insider has told ET that Thomas' TV appearance was a surprise for Meghan and Harry as much as it was for the rest of the world. He expects that his daughter will have a child with the Duke of Sussex "soon".

As Daily Mail reports, the initial reason that the prince chose the name Tungsten for Meghan Markle was because of her "unbending" and "tough" nature.

Earlier in the day, officials said Harry and Meghan will make their first official trip overseas to Ireland next month. The Duchess of Sussex, 36, looked stunning in the billowy frock, which she accessorized with custom white Aquazzura heels, a $40 fascinator, and a sleek bun.

The Queen spoke about her fondness for Royal Ascot in her foreword for the official programme: "My family and I greatly look forward to Royal Ascot".

Markle opted for an understated white silk belted silk dress by Givenchy, her favourite go-to designer. Meghan loves her father deeply and Harry and Meghan have tried to offer him support and guidance adjusting to the media attention.

Now that the couple have got the title, they have a lot more responsibilities, with the former Suits actress reportedly signed onto six months of 'princess lessons' to ideal her royal etiquette.

It will be their first royal engagement overseas.

In fairness, the inside story did describe the dress as "pitch perfect" for the occasion, suggesting women will take inspiration from the look for the upcoming season at Ascot, the English equivalent of the spring racing carnival (with larger hats).
