Melania Trump's jacket mixes message during visit to detained immigrant children

First Lady Melania Trump paid a visit to a Texas facility housing migrant children separated from their parents. "Do U?" in white graffiti-style lettering.

Responding to the outcry over the curious fashion choice, her spokesperson said there was "no hidden message" behind the jacket. Federal agencies are working to set up a centralized family-reunification center in Port Isabel, Texas, the official said, and it isn't clear how numerous 500 children are still being detained with their families.

"[She] fails to take a good, hard look at herself in the mirror beforehand!"

Another added: "Feckless stunt...[Melania] doesn't care and is mocking anyone who does".

When Melania asked at the shelter what could be done to quickly reunite the families, she was sitting next to the Trump administration responsible for doing that, Alex Azar, Health and Human Service Department Secretary. Perhaps she wanted to amplify the phrase on her army-green jacket; President Trump said her coat's message was directed at the news media. Despite public outcry over the jacket, she put it back on for her return trip. She did not wear the jacket to the event. Later, she was pictured again, wearing it upon her arrival back at Andrews Air Force Base, CNN reported. Many Mexican families have been highlighted in the news recently after being ripped away from their children due to Donald Trump's border policies.

First Lady Melania Trump visited a Texas detention center Thursday to check in on immigrant children who have been separated from their parents at the U.S. -Mexico border.

I really don't care, do u?

"It's a jacket. There was no hidden message", said Melania Trump's publicist, insisting reporters instead focus on the First Lady's detention center visit. Trump was not wearing the jacket when she landed in McAllen, Texas. "Melania has learned how dishonest they are, and she truly no longer cares!" he tweeted. All we really know is that the chilly, detached "I really don't care, do u?" felt like a slap to an already bruised and divided national psyche.

"In 2013, we set out to create a home for badass women everywhere", the three women who started the company write on the Wildfang website, where they say the company's employees "eat, sleep and breathe fashion and feminism".

Trump who has been at loggerheads with several USA mainstream media outlets, including CNN, ABC News, The New York Times and Washington Post, tagged the section of media as the nation's "biggest enemy". "You can take your words and all your lies Oh oh oh I really don't care".
