Honor 10 GT With 8GB RAM GPU Turbo Tech Launched Specifications Features

The Honor 10 GT is essentially the same handset but with 8GB of RAM rather than the 6GB version available internationally.

Following the release of Huawei's GPU Turbo technology last month, the Chinese company announced that the performance-enhancing software would begin rolling out to a variety of its devices over the course of the summer.

The GT in its name stands for GPU Turbo, which is a new tech that makes more of the existing graphics hardware and claims to increase performance by up to 60 per cent, while decreasing battery power drain by up to 30 per cent. Now, however, putting an even heavier focus on the technology, Huawei's sub-brand Honor has announced a new variant of the Honor 10 which also makes use of it. Huawei is in the process of making it available to several Huawei and Honor phones through a software update. Besides improving gaming performance, GPU Turbo will also support AR and VR applications, although that may need developers to code in support for specific devices. It will also come with the latest GPU Turbo and tripod-free Night Mode update out of the box. This means a large 5.84-inch display complete with a notch up top is once again present along with the Kirin 970 processor on the inside. The native storage of the phone is not known, but it seems that it could be featuring 128 GB of inbuilt storage. George Zhao, the Huawei Honor President, also said that the AIS technology will also be introduced to the other variants of Honor 10 on July 15.

For photography, it features 24-megapixel + 16-megapixel dual camera unit on its back. The front camera sports a 24-megapixel sensor and 1.8-micron pixel camera for better selfies and video calling. Below the screen of the phone is a fingerprint scanner enabled capacitive home button.
