There may be an air of euphoria back home but England midfielder Eric Dier is adamant that for all the progress, success has yet to be achieved for the Three Lions at the World Cup in Russian Federation.

The Euro '96 anthem managed to topple Drake from the top spot, clocking up over one million streams in just one day.

Dier is likely to start on the bench with manager Gareth Southgate preferring Liverpool's Jordan Henderson in the defensive midfield slot but he could well feature at some stage against a Croatia side whose strength is in central midfield.

"Croatia look a very good team, (they have) very good players in (Luka) Modric and (Ivan) Rakitic, they look a unsafe side".

Asked how he would feel seeing his son running around the stadium with the World Cup next weekend if England make it and win, he said: 'I think I'll have a heart attack or something like that. So to be here now, leading this team out, I'm so proud.

The company said it was "aware" of the incident and congratulated England on its win.

He said: 'It's emotional because he ( his father) has made a lot of sacrifices when I was younger, for me and my brother, who was a professional footballer. We have to just adapt ourselves to their game plan but also they have to worry about us.

"Again, because we have good players available to come in".

"So we have shown character, we've shown belief and I think that's what is going to get us over the line in this game".

"You obviously have got your family at home and the kids that you need to keep in touch with, keep checking in or the missus might go mad".

They will wear the dark blue and back shirts which they have sported for four of their five World Cup matches so far.

"(We hoped we would have) a long month together, which we have done.

And so the deal is set, and with social media as their witness - eyes will now be set on the pair to ensure they carry out their respective forfeits.

KYLE WALKER believes this may be England's best ever opportunity to reach another World Cup final.
