On Friday, retired teacher Ruth Reed was standing in line at a Wawa in Medford, New Jersey, when a male customer asked a fellow patron if she had any cash. When the customer in front of her Friday at Wawa was having an issue at the register, she jumped at the opportunity to help.

"And he said what's your name, Ruth, he said "Ruth I'm Keith" and I said "That's who you look like Keith Urban do people every tell you that you look like Keith Urban" and he said 'I am Keith Urban and I said no you're not really'". "Do people ever tell you that you look like Keith Urban?' and he said 'I am Keith Urban, ' and I said, 'No, you're not really'". Even thought it was Urban, Reed says she thought he was just a lookalike since he was with a woman other than Oscar-winning wife Nicole Kidman.

She says, 'It was then I realized what an idiot I was'.

"Three years ago, I made a resolution to treat somebody at Wawa once a week", she said. I asked him his and he told me it was Keith. "Being at the right place at the right time and too stupid to recognize Keith Urban when you see him". Wanting to pay it forward, she offered to cover the cost of the man's food and gas.

"I said, 'Really? Really?" "I said, 'OK, I don't think she would lie to some old lady'".

"He really could have said, 'Lady, get away from me, ' and he didn't, he was very kind", said Reed.

Ruth Reed bumped into Keith Urban at Wawa and didn't recognise him. Still, she managed to snap a photo with Urban.
