Bernard is set for a medical at Everton

Barcelona duo Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes are having their Everton medicals as the club prepare to announce three transfer deadline day signings.

Mina had been tracked by both Manchester United and Lyon but is set to move to Goodison Park after starring at the World Cup for Colombia, where he scored against England and Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.

Chelsea have been linked with Martial all summer, but United have shown no willingness to let him go, especially to a fellow Premier League side.

Manchester United will get the new Premier League season under way when they host Leicester City at Old Trafford on Friday night.

Meanwhile, Gomes has been rendered surplus to requirements at Barcelona and has failed to become a regular in the Barca first team. "It's been a long, long saga has the Yerry Mina saga".

It's claimed that Manchester United did make a move for Zouma, but Chelsea didn't want to strengthen a direct rival, and have subsequently chosen to send the Frenchman to Goodison Park instead.

"But certainly it's going to be a very, very busy day here at Finch Farm."

Yerry Mina is having his Everton medical in Barcelona as the club attempt to finalise a deal for the Colombia global defender.

While both stars are tipped to complete their moves before tonight's deadline, Mina is expected to move on a permanent deal and Gomes is expected to move on a loan deal.
