Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay video coming August 9

Grand Theft Auto 5 also released its first gameplay footage 2 months prior to release in a "gameplay video" which included a narrator and Red Dead Online tease.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will officially begin disrupting the BMD team's productivity on October 26th.

We don't really have any clue as to what players can expect specifically, but we do know that the new Red Dead Redemption 2 official gameplay video is set to be unveiled on August 9 at 11 a.m. All other marks and trademarks are properties of their respective owners.

There's no indication when the next gameplay trailer will be released but the game itself is out on 26 October, so there's still plenty of time.

When can I watch the Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay trailer?

On the gameplay front, Red Dead Redemption 2 appears to have a refreshingly stripped down HUD, with only a small mini-map and the occasional dialogue options on screen. You've got your sprawling map (which, as expected, looks like it recreates quite a few locations from the previous game in this franchise), you've got your sassy cowboys getting into barfights, your roaming gangs of outlaws looking for their next big score. It was arguably Rockstar's best game to date, and many call it one of the best video games ever made. Ready for some Wild West rowdiness now that you've seen more of RDR2? The video implies the Van der Linde gang will be driven from various territories over the course of the story, but the footage makes the camp look like a thriving community. With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive.
