Dez Bryant won't call John Dorsey back

The Cleveland Browns have been at the front of that list in recent weeks, too, but it's been very unclear as to whether a deal will get done - or even if there's mutual interest there.

Dorsey told reporters Thursday that Bryant failed to return phone calls on the matter of working out for the team next week, reports Cleveland.com's Mary Kay Cabot.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant (88) celebrates a touchdown on the bench with team mates during the third quarter of their game against the Detroit Lions on Monday, December 26, 2016 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

General manager John Dorsey said Cleveland will bring in a mix of veteran and young pass-catchers following a period of personnel shake-ups within the room.

While Dorsey hadn't been able to get a hold of Bryant, the free agent receiver did address the Browns report on Twitter. It turns out the inaction isn't on the Browns end, but rather Bryant himself. "I just want to be right first".

Meanwhile, Dorsey talked about when we might see Gordon again.

It seems, though, that Bryant is starting to run out of time to land with a team. On Thursday, Dorsey said the team will work out a group of wide receivers next week and Bryant could be among them - with one caveat. "I'm still getting myself ready ... if you disagree go to hell".

A couple of hours later, Bryant had reconsidered and tweeted his decision that he was "starting my visits next week", including with Cleveland.
