Harvey Weinstein Accuser Releases Video of Creepy Business Meeting Before Alleged Rape

Melissa Thompson is one of many women who have come forward to accuse now-disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein of sexual assault and rape.

Instead it recorded an excruciating encounter with the man who now faces criminal charges of sexual assault in a NY court, as well as scores...

"I knew I was losing the ability to control the situation and keep it professional", she said.

One of Harvey Weinstein's accusers has released video of an encounter showing his inappropriate behavior before he allegedly raped her.

Melissa Thompson filmed the meeting with the Hollywood producer when she went to the Weinstein Company offices in NY in 2011. Thompson says she was expecting to meet with the Weinstein Company's marketing team, but instead found herself in a room with just Weinstein himself. "Give it to me", he says in the video. Thompson claimed Weinstein quickly agreed to use the video platform and analytics and then suddenly put his hand under her skirt.

It also shows her joking about his advances, saying that "data is hot". "If he made a comment, I would try to catch it and return it in a way that felt a little safer than the way he threw it at me", Thompson told Sky News.

It's not clear what he is doing off camera, but she replies: "That's a little high, that's a little high".

At the end of the meeting, Weinstein can be heard asking Thompson to meet him for a drink at a hotel.

The women suing Weinstein - Caitlin Dulany, Larissa Gomes and Melissa Thompson - filed the lawsuit on behalf of "hundreds of other females like them" who were subject to "unwanted sexual conduct" from Weinstein "that took many forms: flashing, groping, fondling, harassing, battering, false imprisonment, sexual assault, attempted rape, and/or completed rape". She told Sky News that when she got to the hotel, Weinstein led her to his hotel room and raped her. "A little high. That's a little high". Back in June, Thompson gave this interview to NBC News in which she mentions the video and even offered NBC a screengrab from it.

Weinstein's lawyer said the full video "demonstrates that there is nothing forceful" and shows "casual, if not awkward, flirting from both parties". Anything short of that is meant to make Mr Weinstein appear inappropriate, and even exploitative. "It's not bad", he says as he rubs her back.

"I never met anyone that I couldn't handle until Harvey Weinstein", she said.

Thompson was part of a class action lawsuit against Weinstein filed in June in which she claimed the producer began to harass and fondle her, several United States media outlets reported.

Weinstein has denied all allegations of non-consensual sex. "This is a further attempt to publicly disgrace Mr. Weinstein for financial gain, and we will not stand for it. Facts do matter", the lawyer told People magazine.

Out on $1 million bail after having plead not guilty to the first round of indictment and having surrendered his passport earlier this summer, Weinstein is set to be back in Justice Burke's Manhattan courtroom on September 20.

Once in the room, he raped her.
