According to a source at People, Meghan Markle has some old close friends she's stayed in touch with, however, she is finding it hard to know who she can trust.

However, claims that Meghan has cleared her diary conflicts with the royal couples planned trip to New Zealand next month.

Since the 37-year-old Duchess of Sussex said "I do" to Prince Harry earlier this year, relationships she had in her pre-Harry days have fallen by the wayside as she struggles to know who she can let in, reports the Daily Mail.

From her half-sister to her father giving explosive interviews to tabloids about their respectively strained relationships with the former Suits actress, she's been through a lot over the past few months.

"It was very wearing on her", the insider continued.

Taking to Twitter, Samantha wrote: "I am not candy coating anything anymore!"

However, there is one particular royal rule she just can't wrap her head around.

"There's a small group of us that check in with her and see how she's doing, but she's still the same person", Martin told People. She said Meghan should "bow to the daddy".

It's a popular opinion that fans of the royal family absolutely adore Meghan Markle, but what about the royals themselves? "It really was most thoughtful of you and Her Royal Highness sends you her heartfelt thanks and best wishes". The childhood friends had a falling out after Priddy, who was Meghan's maid of honor at her first wedding, disapproved of how she broke things off with her film producer husband Trevor Engelson.

"I've seen her smile for years". Despite not announcing the trip via Kensington Palace as it was a personal trip on her own, the news still broke and soon, details of what she watched - and drank - on the Air Canada flight were reported, although Mulroney earned her stripes as Markle's most trusted confidante as any details of what they got up to in Canada are still under lock and key.
