Chelsea have carved a marvellous start to their life under the tutelage of their new manager Maurizio Sarri.

The former Napoli boss says he will only reveal who he has decided will be captain on a full-time basis after consulting his squad though.

Chelsea have won each of their opening four Premier League games to a season for the sixth time (also 2004-05, 2005-06, 2009-10, 2010-11 and 2014-15), at least twice more than any other side in the competition's history.

The Blues have looked revitalised since Sarri replaced Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge and are yet to drop a point in the Premier League.

Maybe the most pleasing aspect of his short reign though is hanging on to star man Eden Hazard after constant speculation over a move to Real Madrid. But I wanted Tammy, I thought he could spearhead our challenge and fit the play we play.

The Belgium global was though swiftly replaced by Kepa, who signed for a world-record £71.6m fee for a goalkeeper from Athletic Bilbao. For sure he would be a point of reference for me and everyone here I think.

Warnock revealed he was left disappointed with the Premier League giants after being told he would be kept in touch in regards to Tammy Abraham's future.

'The two teams to watch this year are Manchester City and Liverpool, ' he added.

"For us it is very important for us to clear every ball, to play, to have good distributions and good positions in the offensive phase and avoid counter attacks". If he wants to play for another season I think it's right he tries to play.

Alvaro Morata is likely to once again get the nod in spearheading the Chelsea attack, despite Olivier Giroud netting a victor for world champions France in their recent global against the Netherlands.

The Belgian looked back to his best for Belgium over the worldwide break and should be eager to drive his team forward when Cardiff arrive at Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
