'The most unethical sham': Lindsey Graham rails at Kavanaugh FBI probe demands (VIDEO)

Senator Lindsey Graham, R-S.C. accuses Democrats of an 'unethical sham, ' says Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh has nothing to apologize for, urges fellow Republicans to vote to confirm Kavanaugh.

Graham said that in his opinion, "you can have the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Central Intelligence Agency and the Foreign Legion" investigate Kavanaugh and still not find any new information.

The South Carolina senator is saying Democrats are working to "destroy" Kavanaugh's life and hold the seat open in hopes that a Democrat wins the White House in 2020.

Friday's committee hearing followed an impassioned hearing on Thursday with Kavanaugh and his accuser, Christine Blasey Ford.

"This is not a job interview". In Graham's view, the unseemly debate about Judge Kavanaugh will "destroy the ability of good people to come forward". Graham warned his fellow GOP Senators that if "you vote no, you are legitimizing the most despicable thing I have seen in my time in politics". I would never do to them what you've done to this guy. I hope a bipartisan majority will do the same.

"If you can ignore everything in this record, looking at an allegation that's 35 years old, that's uncertain in time, place, date, and no corroboration, if that's enough for you, God help us all as Republicans". Graham was actually referring to allegations from Julie Swetnick, promoted by Resistance TV lawyer Michael Avenatti, that Kavanaugh was present during gang rapes at high school parties. "I will vote to confirm Judge Kavanaugh as Justice Kavanaugh".

Moreover, her claims of psychological damage are preposterous. Later throughout the hearing, several more Democrats would do the same, but Kavanaugh wouldn't answer.

"I don't know I don't think you can just say I'm going to listen to the ABA when I like them, not listen to the ABA when I don't like them", Abrams concluded.

Democrats have asked for an FBI investigation into Ford's allegations, but Republicans have so far refused to consider that. That's exactly where you should be. "You're supposed to be Bill Cosby when you're a junior and senior in high school, and all of a sudden you got over it".
