Manchester United continued its dismal form this campaign and was dealt with its latest credibility blow on Saturday as Jose Mourinho's side lost 3-1 to West Ham.

"I don't remember feeling any danger situations in our box", said West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini, who was replaced by Mourinho at Real Madrid in 2010 and won the Premier League with Manchester City in 2014. We were so close not to win the game against Chelsea.

"But the problem is, I don't think Paul Pogba is on his own if he's voicing these types of things".

The Hammers picked up their first win at the London Stadium on Saturday since May as they saw off United 3-1.

"When a team that comes with that mentality, fragility, of the bad result.is not the best way to start", said Mourinho, a three-time Premier League victor with Chelsea across two spells.

Saturday's loss at West Ham represented a new nadir for the Mourinho era and while Pogba turned down the chance to criticise the result, he once again intimated he is unsettled at United.

United are in an utter state, and if Mourinho is to turn this around he is going to need his entire squad sticking behind him and fighting tooth and nail for the cause.

"I think the hierarchy and the people who run the club, people like [executive chairman] Ed Woodward, are having conversations at that level as to where they go from here".

He also complained about a foul in the build up to West Ham's third, which was scored by Marco Arnautovic.

Reports on Sunday claimed Mourinho had given the 29-year-old a dressing down in training earlier in the week and Sanchez was said to have been left stunned by his manager's decision to omit him from the matchday squad.

West Ham were rewarded on five minutes, when Mark Noble slid in Pablo Zabaleta down the right and the Argentine crossed for Anderson to flick the ball brilliantly past David de Gea with his heel.

He also criticised his own team, calling out Alexis Sanchez (who didn't start) and his side's defending.

"I have no complaints with the players' attitude". "No excuses. As players we weren't good enough".

After the game, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand stated that the team might be on their way to "one of their worst seasons ever". And I always analyse a player as a player.
