The Goregaon police station has already investigated the allegations, he added. "Although we have spoken and written to her (regarding the matter) she is yet to revert", Amit Behl, Senior Joint Secretary, CINTAA, told PTI. You can see in the below video how the audio of the question is morphed showing Akshay Kumar being questioned about Tanushree Dutta - Nana Patekar controversy. It appears now that rules are meant to be broken.

Dutta had filed a complaint with CINTAA a decade ago after she felt uncomfortable shooting a song with Patekar for the film "Horn Ok Pleassss". The actress has also accused choreographer Ganesh Acharya, director Rakesh Sarang and others for not only trying to cover up the incident but for also not coming out in support of her. Mr Patekar is now filming Housefull 4 with actor Akshay Kumar, whose wife Twinkle Khanna and other celebrities have publicly supported Tanushree Dutta.

In a brief televised statement today, actor Nana Patekar said that the press conference he had scheduled to address allegations he sexually harassed Tanushree Dutta had been cancelled on the advice of his lawyer and repeated that "the truth doesn't change".

Tanushree Dutta's version of events have been partly backed by two women who were on set in 2008, a journalist and a crew member who was then an assistant director.

But emboldened by the global #MeToo campaign - where women have shared accounts of harassment or assault - Dutta repeated the allegations in a recent interview and on Saturday went to the police to officially report the 2008 sexual harrassment claims.

Akshay has recently wrapped up Rajasthan schedule of his upcoming film Housefull 4, which interestingly also stars Nana Patekar.
