ASUS and Razer might have a stranglehold on the gaming smartphone market, but Chinese smartphone giant Huawei is rumored to enter the market with the new Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, and the huge Mate 20X. The company has put up a tweet in that regard, hinting at the launch of a new gaming phone scheduled for the same date as the launch of Mate 20 series phones.

We are not sure if the device would carry a rugged design pattern, similar to most other gaming smartphones like Razer Phone, Xiaomi Blackshark, ASUS ROG Phone, Nubia Red Magic, etc. The 64GB Mate Lite and Mate 20 Pro are both listed at 329SFr and 999SFr Swiss francs, respectively. However, not much is known about the details of the camera as of now.

The smartphone will probably be powered by the flagship Kirin 980 processor, the same will be used in the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro. Huawei has been tight-lipped about the features and specifications of the upcoming smartphones.

In just a few more days the Huawei Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro will be released, it will be the first phone that comes with a Kirin 980 processor which is said to be the fastest Android processor. Keep in mind that the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is expected to come in Twilight, Blue, and possibly Green, as well as this freshly pictured Black version.

The Antutu listing shows that the Mate 20 Pro, which will come with 120 Gb of storage plus 6 Gb of RAM obtained a pretty high score, 313561.

The Mate 20 is expected to arrive with a rear camera setup that contains three sensors and a flash arranged in a square shape, but with a fingerprint reader mounted next to it as well. We will be presented with the entire specification sheet only after the official launch. This is the second time we've seen this shade so it's likely coming.
