Stardew Valley is headed to iOS this month and then Android

For more information visit the official Stardew Valley website here. Because folks, the farming RPG from ConcernedApe is now heading to iPhone. While the game will launch first on the iOS App Store, The Secret Police are now working on finishing up the Android version, and I hope to give you more news about an exact launch date soon.

The game was the only title I've personally given a ideal 10 to in my time here at TechRaptor and that's for a very good reason - it's a heck of a lot of fun.

That said, there are a few questions that will be on everyone's mind.

Lastly, there's a new trailer for Stardew Valley below which shows off how certain things like the HUD will look on mobile devices. Thankfully, we're here to help.

A mobile version of Stardew Valley is on its way and it'll be here sooner than anyone expects. I'll be battening down the hatches for Red Dead Redemption 2, which comes out two days later, so I probably won't be able to allow myself to get sucked into the Valley all over again. "The main difference is that it has been rebuilt for touch-screen gameplay", Barone added. It plays nearly identically. Microtransactions, eat your heart out.

In addition, you can transfer your PC save date to the iOS version via iTunes - though the mobile version does not support mods, so save files of modded games may struggle to transfer over. Those save transfers will not include any mod data and Barone warns that "any save data transferred containing mods may cause compatibility issues". It will release worldwide on October 24, 2018.
