Please know that my intention is always pure, and in this case, it was a mistake. We know each other for 15 years.

"So disappointed that you used the "R" word to refer to guests that could not identify your costume". Lol Kim, you are at your little sisters birthday party, what did you expect?

Kim probably didn't mean anything by it at all, but its important when you have such a large following to really watch what you are saying. 'You'll never be on the cover of a magazine.' And you know, unbelievable things have happened in that world or anyone that's ever doubted us or me, he's always been there to hold my hand and lift me up higher and give me the confidence.

Over the summer, Khloe Kardashian faced similar backlash when she posted an Instagram live stream that showed her using the word twice.

Kim shared a photo of the finished outfits on Instagram, where she thanked Victoria's Secret for sending them runway looks - as well as real wings - to borrow.

She's not the first member of the famous family caught using the outdated and offensive word. She later apologized after a fan advised she "pay more attention" to her use of language.

Why is it still acceptable that @KimKardashian uses this kind of disrespectful rhetoric in 2018?

The beauty mogul might've taken a few tips from sister Khloe Kardashian, who landed in hot water for the exact same reason not too long ago.

Khloe responded, "Ugh I hate that word! Why did I even say that?" she tweeted. I will do better! "I am sorry! much love today", she posted.

For her costume, the Modern Family star wore a midriff-baring silver shirt and matching trousers.

"I'm sorry." Kim also deleted the Instagram video, in which she used the condition as an insult - good riddance - but fans are still angry.
