But the Saudis tweeting their support for crown prince Mohammed bin Salman believe the global media coverage of Khashoggi's death is biased.

The killing of Khashoggi at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul last month was likely to come up among representatives of more than 100 countries set to speak during the review of Saudi Arabia on Monday.

After a weeks-long denial, Saudi Arabia admitted on October 25 that the journalist had fallen victim to a premeditated killing in the building.

"I ask Saudi Arabia now publicly, through your program, to have the investigation made public as soon as possible", he said.

Istanbul's Chief Public Prosecutor Irfan Fidan, who is leading the investigation, said last week he believed the journalist was "choked to death immediately" after he entered the building on 2 October, before his body was dismembered and destroyed.

Turkey has demanded, to no avail, that Saudi Arabia disclose what became of Khashoggi's body, that it name the "local collaborator" who a Saudi official has said helped dispose of the remains and that it turn over the 18 suspects to face the Turkish justice system.

In an article in the Washington Post on Friday, Erdogan said the order to kill Khashoggi came from the "highest levels" of the Saudi government and called for the "puppetmasters" to be unmasked.

Jamal Khashoggi's body has not been found.

Saudi Arabian billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, an global businessman, said on Sunday that the probe will exonerate the country's leader.

"Khashoggi's body was not in need of burying", the official said, according to The Post. Khashoggi, a former advisor to Saudi intelligence, had been living in the U.S.in voluntary exile after he began heavily criticizing Saudi Arabia's royal family and government.

And he said he had sought explanations from senior Saudi officials over the killing, stressing: "We want to see those responsible held accountable". "On the other hand, we have a responsibility towards the Saudi people, and we must carry out our responsibility rather than turn our backs on them".

Saudi Arabia now draws on oil and natural gas to meet its own fast-growing power demand and desalinate its water.

The official, who was not authorised to comment on the record and spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the dispatch of the two men to Turkey "suggests that Khashoggi's slaying was within the knowledge of top Saudi officials". "It's not a normal situation and not a normal death", he told CNN.

The strategic projects also include those in the fields of renewable energy, atomic energy, water desalination and genetic medicine, the Saudi Press Agency reported. And I have faith in that.
