Backstreet Boys DNA Tour

The Backstreet Boys, the immensely popular boy band that exploded onto the music scene back in the 90's, will be hitting South Florida in 2019 on their upcoming DNA World Tour.

The group announced set dates Friday morning for a 2019 world tour, alongside news of their 10th album release, "DNA".

The band will perform at the Pepsi Center on August 8, 2019.

The band's 10th album, "DNA", comes out January 25.

BSB have released their new single, a Ryan Tedder, Shawn Mendes penned track "Chances".

The DNA tour begins on May 11 in Lisbon, Portugal and wraps up September 15 in Newark, N.J.

Unlike the Spice Girls, who last performed together at the 2012 Summer Olympics closing ceremonies in London, the Backstreet Boys have played plenty of recent shows.

Tickets go on sale to the public starting November 14. Every ticket purchased for the US tour will include a physical copy of "DNA".

"When this group started 26 years ago - and through all the highs and lows of our career - we've had to learn it wasn't about us as individuals but about what's best for the group", Howie D said in a statement obtained by CNN.

"The journey is ongoing with us and there is so much left to do", Littrell added.
