Red Dead Online Beta: Launch Dates and New Details Announced

Rockstar has announced that early access for the Red Dead Online beta begins tomorrow, and that all players will have access to the feature by November 30th.

Rockstar Games previously said that the Red Dead Online beta would arrive before the end of November.

- Friday, November 30: All players who own Red Dead Redemption 2.

Players should bear in mind that Online's initial launch will be as a beta, so there'll probably be a deluge of glitches and errors to encounter in the days to come.

For everyone else, you can see below for when you'll have access to the Red Dead Online beta.

Never mind retro graphics and vinyl soundtracks, the concept of having just a single release date for a new release is about as old school as video gaming gets nowadays. Anyone who played the game between October 26th and 29th can play on Thursday.

Achievements, such as "Breakout", which are dished out for completing the intro of Red Dead Online, have previously sat at 0 percent since the game's launch.

Tuesday, November 27: All Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition owners.

Along with the player count, Rockstar revealed an incremental release format for the western online shooter. The player count may rise after launch. Players will also be able to form a posse and take on rival gangs.

As you may know, Rockstar Games has been very quiet about Red Dead Online. You can even lasso your pals and hogtie them for a bit of BDSM fun.

"Red Dead Online is a new online connected experience set against the backdrop of Red Dead Redemption 2's enormous open world". If you got the Ultimate Edition, congratulations, you'll be among the first to play the game's online component when it all kicks off on the 28th of November at 12:30 am. Will it be better than GTA Online? You can choose to ignore them if you wish, or join them with other players.
