Thanks in part to strong Thanksgiving to Cyber Monday sales, the total installed base for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems has hit 22 million.

Following its report on Black Friday, Adobe analysis arm Adobe Insights released a follow-up about the most popular products at online retail during Cyber Monday, and it's good news for Switch fans.

Yes Black Friday has been and gone, but you are mistaken if you thought you had missed out on your chance to pick up a great deal. Would you prefer to spend your loyalty points on physical collector's items rather than on older games, or are you just hoping for Switch games to soon be included in the usual discounts?

Lifetime sales of Nintendo Switch, which is entering only its second holiday season, have reached more than 8.2 million units. “If you have someone on your list who is hard to shop for, this $35 in Nintendo eShop credit can be used toward their favorite kinds of games.”. The deal, at present, is available at both Amazon and Target, but don't be alarmed if you don't see it right away.

So yeah, a happy holiday season for Nintendo!

Nintendo Switch has successfully sold over 8.2 million units since its March 2017 launch. Overall, Nintendo's Black Friday to Cyber Monday hardware sales were up 45 percent this year, and software sales were up a hearty 78 percent.
