Smartphones with in-display cameras will start popping up this month, with Samsung and Huawei both set to announce one before the holidays. Carrying a similar design, both the smartphones will sport a display hole for incorporating a selfie camera. Now, with Huawei having announced the Nova 4 launch for December 17th, Samsung has pipped the Chinese company by declaring their launch nearly a week earlier. The invite shows an outline of what is likely the Galaxy A8s with the much talked about Infinity-O display and a tagline that reads "Realm Galaxy".

US wireless carrier Sprint Corp is also working with LG Electronics USA to launch a 5G smartphone in the US in the first half of 2019. Well, the Galaxy A8s will nearly certainly ship with a glass back, and if some concept imagery and rumors are to be believed, the Galaxy A8s will actually ship with three cameras on the back. The upcoming Samsung smartphone in the Galaxy A series is the Galaxy A8s and the device is expected to be launched on 10th December which is only a week later. The report says that the Galaxy A8s will boast a 6.3-inch FullHD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels.

The device is believed to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor with up to 6GB of RAM. This would appear to be an expansion of in-display fingerprint technology that's expected to show up in next year's Galaxy S10 models, which would be its first phone with such a sensor. It is also said to come with a 3,000mAh battery. At first glance, you can see a punch hole cutout on the top left corner on the display. Lenovo will unveil the Z5s tomorrow, Samsung has scheduled an event for December 10 to unveil the Galaxy A8s. The phone is said to ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack as well. Unfortunately, there's no information yet on the exact screen size of its LCD display. On the back, it will house a triple camera setup- 24MP primary sensor, 10MP wide-angle sensor, 5MP depth sensor to produce good quality images.
