Girl's Inoperable Brain Tumor Disappears – ‘God Healed’ Her

In June, doctors diagnosed Roxli Doss with the rare inoperable cancerous brain tumor known as diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma, or DIPG. Survival rates are low. Dr Virginia Harrod of Dell Children's Medical Center told the esteemed portal, "It is very rare, but when we see it, it is a devastating disease". You have decreased ability to swallow, sometimes vision loss, decreased ability to talk.

Despite there being no cure for the disease, Roxli's family made a decision to proceed with an 11-week course of radiation.

"Please donate and send all your love and prayers to make things easier on the Doss family and help out our little Roxstar", the fundraiser description reads. The parents told KVUE they were both shocked after receiving the MRI results after all the doctors their daughter had visited and diagnosed her with the inoperable tumor.

"When I first saw Roxli's MRI scan, it was actually unbelievable", said Dr. Harrod, according to KVUE.

The tumor was reportedly undetectable on an MRI scan after the radiation treatment.

Doss likely had an extremely positive response to her radiation, Dr. Hadjipanayis believes, which doesn't happen often but is certainly possible.

But they were flabbergasted when they discovered earlier this month that the DIPG had disappeared without a trace, KVUE reported.

"Praise God we did", said Scott.

"And we got it", an overjoyed Gena said.

"Every day we still say it", Gena, her mom, said.

The couple acknowledged that they do not know how long their daughter would be healthy, but she is now doing well and doing things that she love such as horseback riding. That was when they say a miracle occurred. That includes horseback riding.

"She is just as active as she ever was".
