This Is The Best Look At Nokia 9 PureView So Far; An Android One Phone with 5 Rear Camera

It's unclear when or if HMD will reveal the device, though given how often odd looking handsets get revealed at the Consumer Electronics Show, we might get an official glimpse of it soon. The smartphone is expected to come with PureView branding and hence reports suggest that HMD could call it Nokia 9 PureView than just Nokia 9.

Though we're unsure exactly how a five-camera setup could work on this phone, we at least know how it could (or indeed, might) look.

An image of the Nokia 9 PureView has leaked out, showing off a penta-lens setup and Android One branding. The newly spotted leaked video of the phone reveals that TA-1087 model number also belongs to it. Further, according to the buzz, the phone will have a metal frame with glass panels covering the front and back sides.

Specs wise, the Nokia 9 has a 5.99-inch 18:9 QHD OLED display. After much rumour and speculation, we have the first renders of what could be an insane-looking phone coming from Nokia. As previously suggested by the logo found on the smartphone's rear, the Nokia 9 PureView will also become the latest device to join the Android One program when it launches next year. That could indicate an in-display fingerprint sensor on the field.

We had been treated with several leaks and photos of the Nokia 9 from industry sources and mobile tipsters.

For starters, the leaked render confirms in-display fingerprint scanner, full-screen display without a notch, but two thick bezels on the top and bottom. Apart from the showcasing the handset from all angles, the video has revealed its key camera features. As for hardware specifications, because the Nokia 9 PureView was meant to launch in 2018 and not 2019, it will retain the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and not the newly launched Snapdragon 855.
