I know that a lot of users despise dark themes but clearly, there are enough of us who fancy it that developers are working to bring it into Chrome across the board. Then, in the "Target" field, add '-force-dark-mode' without the quotations. Responding to one of the questions, Senior Engineer Peter Kasting, responding to a question on Reddit has confirmed that the team is very much working on it.

Kasting notes that the mobile version of Chrome is handled by a separate development team, so he doesn't have info on when a dark mode is coming to the Android or iOS versions of the browser.

However, now that all of this was found thanks to an entry in a bug report discovered by Techdows, we also have something to go on as far as enabling dark mode on a PC.

"Chrome should respect this", wrote Kasting.

The most obvious hack is to use the default incognito color scheme in normal mode (as well as incognito) if the system is in dark mode.

Now, according to a Chromium source code commit, one of these flags has been added to Chrome on Windows 10. But today, we will be talking about a tool called Windows Auto-Night Mode that lets you toggle between Light & Dark theme easily. Now that both the operating systems have introduced easier-on-the-eye themes, apps are trying to match those system wide dark modes but apparently not without issues. This has been a popular external request for some time.

Hence, for all these reasons and complains finally the tech giant Google made a decision to launch the same well-known dark mode feature for Windows 10 just like a few days ago it confirmed the arrival of this feature for Chrome in macOS Mojave.

For the time being, Google Chrome already shows a dark theme for its incognito tabs for the users to make a difference between them and regular tabs.

Actually, this dark mode is available on Chrome Canary from where you can force Chrome to add Dark Mode, to do that follow this procedure. If a dark mode makes the page black, but it doesn't change the cursor to white, then you can't see it, making typing hard.
