So how do the other Fiji Water girls on Golden Globes night feel about her stealing the show? Soon after she caught the attention of the online world, memes began to pour in, making her known world-wide as the Fiji Water Girl.

Though likely a PR stunt by Fiji Water to promote their product, many on the internet wondered, "Who is that girl?"

It wasn't just the stars of film and television who served looks on the red carpet though.

It's safe to say that Cuthbert has become the first viral meme of 2019, and we wouldn't be surprised if Fiji Girl becomes the hottest Halloween costume this year.

While Cuthbert is still a minor mystery, one fashion photograph who has worked with her raves about the young model. "It doesn't matter where you stand, you're in the crossfire of every shot", she told People.

#FijiWaterGirl It's a shame they had some awards ceremony interrupting the Fiji Water Girl show!

While Cuthbert's employer poked fun at her presence on social media, the model said she didn't give much thought to her expressions at the time.

The Golden Globes last night were marked by both historic moments and tremendous upsets.

"I do love a good meme, so I think it's incredibly ironic and amusing that I'm one now", she is quoted as saying.

In the caption, she wrote, "Not the worst way to spend a Sunday..."

"They've reaped a lot of rewards off this", Smallwood said. And not only did she photobomb Hollywood's finest, but she also stared down the camera lens with her sultry gaze and outposed.

Before the end of the Globes telecast, her Instagram follower count was up to around 50,000 and as of Tuesday it was 179,000 and counting. While many of her appearances saw her unabashedly stare directly into the lens with a half-smile, the 5-foot-9 Canadian model made sure to laugh off the Internet fuss in an Instagram post.

"She was perfectly cast, nearly that Cinderella Disney princess idea that you wanted to believe that some woman handing out water at the awards somehow ended up in the back of all these photos".
