Another development that signals the end of Jericho's involvement as a WWE wrestler is his name being dropped from the list of active members in the SmackDown Live roster.

On Tuesday the All Elite Wrestling Double Or Nothing Rally took place from Jacksonville, FL, and the event ended with a huge surprise when Chris Jericho took the stage to announce that he's all in with All Elite.

Nearly immediately, WWE responded by moving the four-time World Champion's biography to the alumni section of its website. "We are going to change the universe, baby!"

WWE have now made their move on what to do with Jericho next - and it seems pretty drastic considering he one day may return to the company. Thus far, his only real non-WWE wrestling appearances have been for New Japan Pro Wrestling and as part of his own Rock and Wrestling Rager at Sea cruise. These talents obviously have to wait until their WWE contracts expire and there is also a "wait and see" feeling to see if AEW works out, and what it becomes. However, it just goes to show how interesting professional wrestling is becoming. "President and CEO, Tony Khan, the official contract..."

Everyone knows Jericho is a WWE legend, his resume is second-to-none - six world championships and a nine-time Intercontinental Champion amongst other accolades.
