CES 2019: Nvidia RTX 2060 is here, it's faster than a GTX 1070Ti and costs just $349

Nvidia unveiled its latest graphics card and a new line of laptop models during its CES keynote on Sunday. This next-generation GPU is then, amazingly, squeezed into a premium sandblasted chassis that is only 18.95 mm thick, meaning that not only is the GS75 a powerhouse but it is incredibly portable and stylish, too. There will be 65-inch Big Format Gaming Displays featuring 4K. I've been using the already released 15-inch Alienware m15 version for most of December, and this 17-inch model felt even more optimized for size, with a larger screen in body of roughly the same thickness.

'Laptops are the fastest growing gaming platform - and just getting started, ' claimed Huang.

This system has impressed critics at to such an extent that it has won a CES Innovation Award. It features a SteelSeries Rapid Mechanical RGB Keyboard and the dimensions measure at 428x314x31.58mm.

The GeForce RTX 2060 costs $349 and promises new levels of performance and features previously available only in high-end gaming GPUs, Nvidia said.

Other specifications include an 8th-generation Intel Core i7-8750H processor with sports a total of six cores. These new GPUs can be used for both laptops or desktop computers. Both at its sides and at the spine.

A stock-clocked RTX 2060 Founders Edition board - designed and built by NVIDIA - will also be available on that date at the official website.

Based on the screenshots above, you can see that the while it shows GTX 1180 as the name of the device, the rendered is showing something different - GeForce RTX 2080/PCIe/SSE2.

Jensen Huang, who is CEO at Nvidia, showcased the new RTX 2060 graphics card by displaying some videos reflecting the ray tracing performance by creating the reflection of fireworks in puddles and bright lights reflecting off metal. Those processors come standard with 8GB of DDR4-2666 memory, but can be expanded up to 32GB (there are two SO-DIMM slots).
