Tulowitzki, Yankees finalize one-year deal

It's safe to say the Manny Machado saga is long from over. This follows that expectation because Harper is meeting with the Phillies in Vegas Saturday so you'd figure no decision from him would be made until Sunday or Monday at the earliest.

Levine also reported that "momentum is building" for the White Sox to land Machado despite a front-runner not being clear. The White Sox acquired Machado's brother-in-law Yonder Alonso in a deal with the Indians in December.

The New York Yankees, Philadelphia Phillies and Chicago White Sox have reportedly all extended offers to the 26-year-old.

Yankees general manager Brian Cashman has remained coy on the subject Machado and has even said New York's intent is to have a starting infield consisting of Luke Voit at first, Gleyber Torres at second, Tulowitzki at short, and Miguel Andujar at third. Both teams with money to spend and ready to compete right now.

Harper opted to test free agency this year after turning down what was reportedly a 10-year, $300 million offer from the Nationals.

Moustakas is represented by Scott Boras, who also represents Bryce Harper.

The White Sox, Yankees and Phillies have all been linked to Machado.

While reports surfaced that NY is out on potentially landing Manny Machado, the Yankees aren't going down without a fight.
