Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the high-profile new Congresswoman from New York's 14th District, surprised comic book fans this morning by responding to critics by quoting Watchmen at them on Twitter.

She has proposed a 70 percent tax on the wealthiest Americans to fund her New Green Deal.

In November, Ocasio-Cortez, 29, became the youngest woman ever elected to Congress.
