The 21-year-old Osaka beat Petra Kvitova in the Australian Open final on January 26, adding to her championship at the U.S. Open last September.

The news comes just three weeks since Osaka's successful run to her second straight major title at the Australian Open, which launched her to World No.1. She also thanked Bajin and wished him "all the best in the future".

Osaka claimed the first WTA title of her career at Indian Wells in March, defeating Maria Sharapova, Karolina Pliskova and Simona Halep en route to the title.

Japan's Naomi Osaka celebrates with the championship trophy during the presentation ceremony after her victory against Czech Republic's Petra Kvitova in the women's singles final on day 13 of the Australian Open.

Bajin replied to Osaka with a tweet of his own. What a ride that was.

Bajin, the 2018 WTA Coach of the Year, publicly responded, thanking the 21-year-old via his personal Twitter account. "Thank you for letting me be part of this".

Osaka hired Bajin in 2017 and enjoyed a meteoric rise during the time they worked together.

He is a former hitting partner of Grand Slam champions Serena Williams, Victoria Azarenka and Caroline Wozniacki.

Osaka withdrew from this week's Qatar Open, citing a back injury. She has dual citizenship and now is based in Florida.
