Division 2

In case you weren't aware, Ubisoft hosted a private beta for The Division 2 over the weekend, which came to a close a couple of hours ago.

The Division 2's private beta, which just wrapped up this morning, has seen a considerable drop in viewer interest on Twitch compared to the first game's beta. Did you get the opportunity to run around D.C. this weekend? He said that the developer will be fixing some of the bugs for the open beta, which Ubisoft is yet to officially announce.

Headlines about an open beta for The Division 2 made the rounds today after a community developer mentioned an "open beta" during a livestream.

The recent closed beta weekend gave players a look at the "levelling" part of the game, and what it'll be doing to extend its appeal past the end of its main story - introducing a new high-tech villain faction, Black Tusk.

However, it seems that a much more widespread open beta is on the horizon. The Division 2 will then be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on 15th March 2019 with a "substantial campaign that organically flows into a robust endgame, to create a cohesive and meaningful experience for all types of players", according to Ubisoft. This happened with Anthem and it will also happen with The Division 2.
