Slacks Gets a Dark Mode - How to Activate It?

The desktop app doesn't have dark mode support at all, but it's in the works. It's not available to everyone just yet, but it is rolling out to beta testers.

One will have to visit the official Slack site and sign-up for the beta program on iOS or Android.

Do note that the Beta program is now full and you will need to wait in the queue before you can participate in the program.

In case you've not received an app update in the Play Store, head to APKMirror to install this version of the app to get the dark mode.

After enabling the dark mode in the launcher settings, you can find the option called Nova Google Companion integration on the same option.

If I could, I would use all my phone's apps in dark or night mode. Hopefully, we'll see this feature soon. The feature is applied to most parts of the app, including headers, pop-ups, and menus, however, it doesn't affect the color palettes of the app.

Facebook Messenger just started testing out a dark mode for its mobiles app.

You've got a few options when it comes to controlling dark mode in individual Apple apps for macOS too. Along with being easier on the ol' peepers, this should also prove beneficial to your device's battery life. Update the app and then navigate Settings and make certain Dark Mode is enabled.

As you probably know, dark mode has become one of the most requested features for almost every app on both iOS and Android. Also, it makes using the application easier on the eyes in dark environments.
